This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the nurse in the building, I am the one the kids come to see for "tummy aches" or hunger pains. Having quick and easy snacks are one of the ways I can help.

My students generally come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and many of the kids live in a multi-generational home and snacks are not a necessity.

Being able to provide a grab and go snack is all many of my kiddos need somedays to make to through the day. Keeping them in class, and school, is my main goal!
