I am teaching 30 amazing second-grade students, with and without special needs, who would love your help! Our school is a Title I school, located in an area of New York where there is high poverty. Any and all help would be truly beneficial to each individual!
Free breakfast and lunch are provided for students at our school.
The students are eager to learn and come to school with a smile on their faces each day! You can make all 30 smiles even bigger with your help and contribution!
My Project
"With organization comes empowerment." -Lynda Peterson. Allowing students to take responsibility of their belongings and learning organization skills will lead to ownership, which will lead into success!
As their teacher, one of the lifelong lessons I want to teach my students is the value of organization and responsibility.
I want to be able to model these skills and also give them the opportunity to utilize these skills.
As you many know, one thing a school has too much of is paper! Where do you think all of the paper goes? We would love a file cabinet to store students' work and data. We are also asking for hanging folders so each child can file and access their own work when they need to - it will be like their own portfolio! Please help reduce the paper clutter and the stress that comes along with it. We are so excited to learn and practice our organizational skills with your help!
