This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom needs to move away from morning work worksheets. Students do not want the first thing they see in school to be a worksheet. I found that the only students truly completing the worksheets were the students that did not need the extra practice.

Working with STEM tools will help my students get engaged in critical thinking first thing in the morning.

Morning STEM bins would be a huge benefit to my students. Students will be excited to come to class and work with building tools. These bins will also help motivate students to get to school on time and promote better attendance.
