This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing, they come to school every day ready to grow and learn. Unfortunately, there are some who do not have the nutrition they need to get the day started. Several do not have access to healthy meals and snacks and that can impede learning.
A variety of healthy snacks will help all of my students get the proper nourishment so that they learn and grow.
I am asking for a variety of healthy snacks including a big healthy snack box, and fruit snacks. This will help my kids fill their bellies when they are hungry and I can even send snacks home to those who don't have a lot of food at their house. This could be a game changer for some of my kids!
