This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One major change since the pandemic is that we use technology more and more each day. My students and I are fortunate to have more access to technology thanks to Donors Choose and our school. However, as much as technology has improved over the years, one thing is certain and in this case it's that technology is not always reliable.

This school year all of our classes were given a Promethean Board and my students and I were excited because it cut down time on preparing material needed.

In other words, we could prepare ahead of time because we could type our needed documents on Google Docs instead of writing on the dry erase board.

However, we have run into a major problem. Our classroom laptops used for the promethean board continue to freeze. Therefore, my students could benefit from having an Air Mac to have more consistency in our lessons and presentations.
