Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kids are interesting - there's no denying that. So who could blame them for watching one another instead of concentrating on their own schoolwork? Still, there are definitely times throughout the day when we could all use a little bit of peace and privacy. My students are tired of trying to construct their own "pockets of peace" with school books and floppy folders that are always falling over. That's where you come in.

My students need help focusing on their studies - privacy screens and chair bands just might do the trick!

The screens will offer students a temporary partition for their desks that will allow them three little walls of privacy and reduced distraction during activities like reading, composing journal entries, and completing assessments. Together, we've chosen a set with soothing colors to create a tiny academic oasis for each child.

In addition to the screens, my students are also asking for chair bands to help satisfy their need for movement when they're trying their best to focus on their work. Would you be willing to help?
