Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
No more cutting up my lab benches that is. We need dissecting pans! Our Anatomy & Physiology class is ready to dissect, but our pans are from 1965 or maybe earlier. They are dirty, smelly, and not fit for student use. Some mice actually made a home in one over the summer. We dissected rats directly on my lab benches today, which was difficult to say the least.
We just need 15 dissecting pans and we promise to take good care of them and use them again, and again for years to come.
These pans will allow my students to get the most out of their Anatomy and Physiology class. We will spend less time figuring out "creative" ways to secure our specimens and more time enjoying what is inside of them.
