This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our large school has a high ELL population with high spirits to learn and grow. These amazing students are full of life and come from many wonderful diverse backgrounds. My amazing 2nd grade class is full of many different students such as ELL, ESE, and a range of cultures. They are eager to learn something new and deepen their knowledge of something they already know. My students are always ready to explore, work as a team and work hard to gain more knowledge.

My Project

These materials will help my students and myself stay organized with the classroom supplies. When students know where classroom items are they can quickly get the materials they need and focus on the task at hand instead of where the supplies are. In addition, the portable cart will help our classroom move around supplies through the school with ease. They do not have to worry about supplies falling as they walk outside to do a science, reading, or math project. All of the materials requested are items that will assist and make it easier for the class in reaching their goals.
