The students I work with at our school can be described as eager to learn through active experience. Some students come to me with little background knowledge or experiences with technology and experiences outside of our community. They are best motivated to become active in class activities when they are given opportunities to work with concrete examples versus abstract materials. This is why having materials for them to manipulate is so important!
The area my students come from is a rural, close knit community.
Many of them live within walking distance of the school. Many of their parents may have even attended the very same school when they were children.
This demonstrates that the heritage in this community is strong, and loyal. It also demonstrates that many of my students do not travel far from home. I want to give them the world to explore, right from my classroom! Thanks for partnering with me in this endeavor.
My Project
Ink cartridges offer teachers and students the ability to print out technology projects and activities in an instant! Since we are limited to what pages we can send out to print and the time we must wait for those items to arrive, our projects and activities are delayed. On many occasions a student has needed to practice a skill, and it would have been nice to be able to print out practice pages or notes for students and parents. Your donation will offer us the instant print capabilities to solve this dilemma. Printer ink purchases are expensive, but oh so necessary! Thank you!
