My Students

"Were all the letters sun, I could not see one" Gloucester from Shakespeare's King Lear.

My students are smart and hardworking juniors and seniors.

It is my job to prepare them for college and beyond. One of the best things that I can do for them is to show them how to engage with difficult texts. Shakespeare challenges students in ways that no other author does.

My Project

I would like to obtain 35 copies of the No Fear Shakespeare version of King Lear. The side-by-side copies of the play will help my students to sort through the plot so that we can focus more of our time on understanding the nuances of the play including Shakespeare's use of imagery and language.
