Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Headphones are a crucial tool for students during reading and math interventions. They help students to concentrate on what is being taught without any distractions in their environment. Headphones also allow students to learn at their own pace. If my project is chosen, all kindergarten through 4th-grade students will receive headphones that they can use in all their classes.

Our main priority is to provide students with the necessary tools to succeed.

The absence of headphones has been identified as the leading cause of students not receiving the required individualized instruction to close the achievement gap.
