My Students
My students are an extraordinary group of kids. They come to school each day ready and eager to learn whether they are remote or in person. For many of them, school is not just a place to learn, but it also is what many of them would consider a place that feels like home. Especially with all that has been going on in the world, they continue to work hard and give it all they have!
They are resilient, resourceful, and passionate when it comes to learning.
Even though school looks different than what they are used to, they are trying the very best they can. They are students who are eager to learn and want to be the best version of themselves. All of them have goals of one day going to college, and most importantly having strong careers! They don't allow the outside influences of their environment to affect their learning and eagerness to learn. They are typical kids, in an area that forces kids to grow up quickly. Most of all, they care about school, and come each day eager and willing! What more could a teacher ask for!
My Project
We are asking for a classroom set of headphones for the students to use in school and at home! All of our students need to be in Zoom and it can be hard to focus and distracting without headphones. These headphones would provide students with a quiet environment for them to do their best work!
Having students signed onto their laptops listening to different activities and lessons can get chaotic and hard to focus.
This can be very distracting to the child. The headphones would cancel out any background noise and really allow them to be present in the session without in person or remote!
