My students need 5 copies of the book, "Bullying in Schools," and a few other books on bullying, along with two Coby Kryos tablets to learn about the effects of bullying in our school and how we can combat it.

My Students
Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever seen someone being bullied?
My students are impressionable 5 year old kindergarteners who are learning to socialize with one another.
They live in a low socioeconomic area in Los Angeles. In this environment they don't always see adults getting along with one another. We are a Title 1 school where 90 to 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Before and after school programs are provided where students can work on homework in a safe environment.
My Project
The book Bullying in Schools, Ant and the Big Bad Bully Goat, Billy Bully, Anti-Bullying And Teasing, the Bully Free Zone in a Jar, the Bully-Proof Your Classroom Teaching Kit and Coby Kyros Tablets will help me develop lessons that will promote anti-bullying. Using the tablets we can find other books, videos and supplementary materials that would reinforce the concept that bullying is NOT COOL.
Your donation to this project will make it possible for my students to begin needed discussions on bullying, see its negative effects and find ways how we can STOP it at our school.
My hope is that these lessons will carry over with my students throughout their school careers.
