Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love giving my students books to take home so they can read at home and continue their joy for learning.

But, some of my students its hard to keep track of all their books.

For reasons like they do not have a special place to keep their books, they have siblings they share a room with, or they move a lot and things get lost.

I would love to get each student a canvas bag to keep all the books I give them. We would take time to decorate them so my students take ownership and know it is all theirs. And they know they can take it with them where ever they go and read!

Mrs. Johnson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 22.
