My Students

For the first time ever, my middle school will offer photography as a talent class. The students who make up my 2 sections of photography all voluntarily chose to be part of this new program in order to pursue their interest in photography and broaden their horizons. These kids are amazing, and they are going to be working all year to develop their own unique styles of photography in to express themselves and show us the world through their eyes.

My Project

This project will allow my students the opportunity to shoot with a fixed 50mm lens. These lenses will further expand my students’ abilities to take portrait photos.

It will be an amazing opportunity for them, and will help them become better photographers.

These lenses will allow them to experiment more with aperture, as well as ISO, and take portraits that display emotion. These will be very beneficial for the yearbook as well as the senior video and slideshow at graduation. I hope that my students can continue to grow and learn to become better photographers.
