This year I am excited to be teaching 4th grade in a rural elementary school in Virginia. I have students from all socioeconomic backgrounds and various family situations. We also have many military families that we welcome in our school.
Many students receive reading support, math intervention, or other supports throughout the year to help them be successful in all academic areas.
I strive to give my 4th graders a safe, creative environment, and provide them with meaningful learning experiences.
We recently received items through a funded project for indoor recess. Help me provide my students with storage bins and file envelopes that will help to organize our new items in our classroom. Students will be able to keep our supplies tidy and teach them organizational skills. When a classroom is organized, everything has a proper place and the days seem to run more smoothly.
I stress the importance of being organized all the time in my classroom.
My students will be able to carry these skills throughout their school career as they learn to organize items, keep spaces neat, and clean.
