My Project

The Scholastic News and Science Spin will further support my second-grade students' inquiring minds by helping them discover and explore the world at their fingertips.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus during our science and social studies blocks, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will read nonfiction articles that they find interesting, which will increase their drive to read for their enjoyment! The news articles also include comprehension questions and this will improve my students' knowledge of real-world events.

These Scholastic materials were a huge hit with my students last year, and I would love to provide the same learning experience for my incoming class!
