My Students

I teach 23 third graders this year. They love to read, dance, and listen to music. My third graders enjoy using computers and working on the internet.

They enjoy reading a variety a text, articles, and plays.

Hands-on science activities are their favorite this year. They love to teach others and make how-to videos.

We live in a rural community and are a Title I school. Our school is close and we are all committed to the success of our students.

My Project

My students are increasingly interested in nonfiction text this year. I would love to add this resource to their library of materials to read.

These articles will spark curiosity in my students to learn new and interesting information.

They will enjoy getting each edition and reading them to increase their nonfiction reading skills.

Times for Kids has many different topics that are of high interest for students to read. Students will be exposed to the format of a magazine, answer questions on the different text, and be able to talk and discuss about new topics in class. I know my students would love these and learn a lot from them!
