My Students

My students are brilliant. Some already speak, read, and write 4 languages. But now they need to learn English. Can you help this group of dedicated, hardworking students to be successful in school and in life?

Imagine a classroom full of students from countries all around the world.

Within my classroom, I work with students from over a dozen different counties from 5 continents. Students in my room have come from countries including Iraq, Cuba, Yemen, Ethiopia, Burma (Myanmar), and many others. These students work hard each and every day and really desire to learn. They are dedicated to their education and I want to do everything I can to help them learn.

My Project

Having 3 iPod shuffles in our classroom will enable students to read along with books that we have in the classroom while they listen. These students will be able to make connections between the written and spoken word and it will enable them to build their reading skills.

The students in my classroom are the future of our nation and our world.

They have so much to offer with their multilingual, cross-cultural abilities. They can have a tremendous impact on the future of our country. Giving to this project will equip them for a future of success!
