My Project

The New Year is a great time to refresh and renew, and the same is true with classroom materials! I have been teaching for almost a decade, and there are some essential classroom items that have been with me since day one. It is time for these items to be replaced and restored to get the best use in our room.

If there are 180 days in a school year, there are some items that have been used over 1,800 times!

As you can imagine, some of these items are no longer functional. They are run down and non functional, and taking up valuable space in our classroom.

The items in this project may seem like a random mix, but they all serve a purpose. Whiteboards, dry erase markers, and felt (used for erasers) are used daily in centers. Pencil cups and trays are also used for organization in center time. Highlighters, staplers, pens, and the chair will all be used by me and my assistant teacher to aid in student instruction.
