My Students

My students are eager fifth-grade students who have a thirst for learning. They love being involved in their own educational journey. They attend school in a rural area located in one of the poorest parts of the county that is highly affected by COVID. We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free lunch.

Our students have very limited resources.

Therefore as educators, we must find ways to help them to succeed and be successful in school and beyond.

My Project

We have to think of any and everything that we can to provide our students with the essentials they may need in these post-pandemic times. Some of my students come to school with no socks and masks and they are susceptible to catching a cold or getting sick

Warm, clean socks and masks will help stop the spread of covid related issues.

These socks and masks will be available when students arrive without either one or both. Sometimes clean socks are like a warm hug for your feet and that's what I would like to give my students. The masks will help keep the germs from entering their bodies while at school.
