This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are always full of questions. They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They are my inspiration!

My students have a hard time completing assignments and projects due to the lack of supplies and resources!

I teach in a campus where the majority of our student population are ESL, at risk, and economically disadvantaged students.

Each child in my classroom loves learning, but the resources are sometimes a barrier. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are an incredible group, and I am lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

With the use of a Surface Go, I will be able to be in constant communication and students will enjoy fun learning. I use Google classroom with my students for guided practice and independent work. Google Classroom allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Having the appropriate tools (Surface Go) to service my students is essential. I can create engaging lessons and keep in constant communication in order to focus on increasing their learning!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

With the Surface GO, I will be able to simply focus on creating engaging lessons that will enhance my student's learning. Plus in this technology-literate world, updated technology is a must.
