My Students

This project is for the boys and girls soccer team. Funding for sports at my school are very limited, being Title I and I would like for my girls to have the proper equipment to be successful. Quote: "Don't give just because of what someone else said. Use that as motivation to work harder."

Being a Title I school, funding for sports activities is very limited, so I am unable to provide my team with the best equipment to help them reach their full potential.

These students work hard and are extremely motivated, and I want them to feel successful in how they are being trained and are performing.

My Project

The materials I am asking for will help my students feel successful as they transition into 6th or 7th grade next year. Due to lack of funding, and working at a title I school, sometimes asking for basic supplies can be a difficult task for many families. The supplies listed below will help tremendously in helping them feel successful in the classroom.

Students need to feel success.

With your help, I can help provide notebooks and folders for my students next year. My students need help staying organized so with the notebooks and folders I am requesting, this will help them keep their math materials together in one space.

My students will be using a lot of dry-erase markers because I like to do a lot of desk graffiti, which helps keep them engaged in the lessons. Obviously pencils are often a must in math class! We are always going through pencils, so I would love to provide my students with a heavy supply in case if we run out toward the middle of the year.

Most students struggling with pacing during tests and classwork. I want to provide a couple sets of timers to help keep my students focus and on task when they are working independently.

I want to give these students the opportunity to feel successful at math, a feeling many of my students have never felt before.
