New Year, Start Fast

Help me give my students get off to a great start to the school year by providing them with the materials needed for academic and social emotional success this school year. We need lapboards, scissors, markers and visuals.

My Project

The materials needed will ensure the students are off to a fast start this school year. The students will engage in small group work, discussions, and project-based learning activities that the materials will ensure they have all the supplies needed to be successful. The decorations are STEM-related and will provide students with an atmosphere where math and science are relevant and at the forefront of the design while also providing a safe environment to be vulnerable and take chances to become better academically. Donating to the project will create a rich academic environment grounded in STEM and help develop future mathematicians and scientists. This project aims to ensure students have all the materials needed to be successful and they can focus on their academics. Materials can sometimes be a barrier to success, so by providing them; students are already on the path to success. So being able to provide pens, pencils, highlighters, markers, and a sharpener will set the students up for maximum success. The dry-erase boards are an accessible way for me to assess students and give feedback on how they are doing with the standard being covered. The scissors are for hands-on projects related to both math and science. The anchor charts and motivational posters will keep students grounded in positivity and surround them with STEM and all it offers them currently and in the future. The laminator and laminating sheets will allow me to create multiplication and division charts that students can keep with them and use as a reference and laminate graphic organizers that the students can use to keep track of notes and vital information covered in class.
