This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is the start of a new year and some our classroom supplies are a little worn down or need some replenishing. While these items might not be fun and flashy, they are important in helping my mathematicians learn daily.
Since the start of the school year, my mathematicians have been hard at work to grow their brains and our classroom supplies have been working just as much as they have!
We have been using sheet protectors as dry erase boards, but it hasn't held up well with daily use. It is time for an upgrade! Our hot glue gun has handle some our crafty classroom moments, but it is time to retire our current model that doesn't quite dispense melting hot glue like it used to. Our pens and markers are running out of ink and headphones are becoming unintentionally cordless/wireless (oops!)
2023 will be a great year for my mathematicians and we hope to start it off with a nice refresh of some classroom materials!
