This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sometimes teachers need extra materials to make their content even more engaging. I teach 7th and 8th grade English and most of my students are learning English as a second language, so I am always looking for ways to support these students and build their background knowledge and vocabulary.
I have the class novel, but I am looking for specific materials created by and for teachers that will elevate my instruction and make this novel come alive for my second language learners.
Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) is an incredibly valuable site to purchase additional supplies including visuals, hands-on materials, and graphic organizers to allow all of my students access to grade level content.
