This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There is nothing like the smell of fresh crayons, the vibrance of a fresh box of markers, or the sharpness of a new pencil. My project will give next years second graders a fresh set of supplies and materials for the new school year.

Many of our families can not afford to purchase supplies.

Students often have lower self-esteem with no or older pre-used supplies. The supplies I am requesting in this project are things that we use all day every day.

My project includes pencils, dry erase markers, and erasers (You wouldn’t believe how quickly we run through them!), laminating sheets, crayons, labels and tabs to keep our math notebooks organized. These are all the essentials we use during throughout each day.
