Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to kick off the year by giving each of my students their own bag of supplies. Teaching in a Title 1 school means some of my families cannot provide their own students with their own school supplies (some don't even have supplies to work on things at home) and I don't have enough funds to give everyone their own.

All of the items listed in this project are things that my students use daily in our classroom.

When each student has their own supplies it helps our classroom run smoothly, because everyone knows where their supplies are and they are all contained in a zip up bag that holds everything so nicely.

I get a cute group of second graders every year and I want to set them up for success from the beginning and let them know how truly special they are!
