My Project

The number one thing that makes the day go smoothly is being organized! I travel between several classrooms to work with different students throughout the day and having everything ready to go saves so much time and frustration! The students I work with have a low tolerance for not being ready to go the minute I arrive! Not all the classrooms I work in have a space designated for small groups, so having a table that dictates our space and our work is important. Stools help support core strength, which often keeps students focused and engaged. They are also a novelty from their regular chairs which is just a little bonus for us. Using baskets and caddies for each child allows them to get their own materials, learn about keeping them organized, and saves time when it is time for group. Being organized and ready is a life skill students require and can carry on in their school and life endeavors.

The students I work with need any extra benefits they can get.
