Help me give my students a fresh start in a clean classroom with restocked pens and pencils, lots of Kleenex for flu season, and some upgraded technology to keep everyone moving forward!

My Project

My students are honor students in grades 9 through 12 who are excited about learning math and particularly enjoy hands-on craft-based activities linked to mathematics. They are absolute nerds from over 90 middle schools throughout the city. They all come together to learn in a fast-paced and rigorous community dealing with difficult and challenging curriculum. It can be a struggle for many, but watching them succeed is incredible.

What is remarkable is how truly diverse they are with 63% being students of color making us one of the most diverse schools in the state.

This project will give us a fresh set of supplies to start of the school year off right! I am requesting fresh pens and pencils, lots of Kleenex, and some upgraded technology! With updated storage, lots of basics, and cleaning supplies to keep us organized, we'll have everything we need to learn in an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
