Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 45 caring and excited students this school year. They are an inquisitive group of 7, 8 and 9-year-olds with interests of technology, engineering, and exploring ALL avenues. Our school is the heart of their neighborhood. My students come from single-parent households in low-income areas which requires them to help out their parents in various ways at home.

When they come to school I want them to have the freedom to be kids and to learn new things that will benefit their future.

My students, through experience at a young age, have learned how to be caring and responsible problem solvers and they deserve to have the best education.

My Project

These materials will help my students continue their school year without the worry of having to get more supplies for our day to day classroom activities.

Discounted supplies and big donations are usually popular at the beginning of the school year, however, society doesn't realize that supplies run low mid-year.

The headphone rack will be a great organization tool for our classroom. New partitions will replace the old and tattered ones from the previous year. Having a new game to play for future game days and adding new books to our classroom library will be a nice welcome back gift for my students.
