This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income, urban school setting. My students face immense challenges in and out of the classroom. They are five and six years old and they are brilliant! They dream of growing up to be doctors, police officers, and teachers. Ultimately, they want to break the cycle of poverty.

As a teacher trying her best to make their learning environment positive and fun with high expectations, I need your support.

I know my early learners can and will achieve greatness with the right tools and support along the way.

My Project

As a teacher at a Title I school, it is my number one priority to give students the education they deserve. My students deserve to have markers to use during centers or independent practice time, anchor charts around the room to anchor their learning, and technology with cases in order to ensure they are still working by the end of the year! They work very hard each and every day. They are growing into amazing readers, explorers, and they are curious to learn more and more every single day!

By donating to my project, you will ensure students have materials that encourage learning and organization.

I am asking for any donation amount, in the midst of this holiday season, as a reminder to pause and give back to our kids. My class will be so grateful for your generosity and kindness. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
