Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach prek disabled and we are always moving and exploring. These items will help to keep our classroom healthy and are always needed and used up quickly. My students use treats as a work and behavior motivators so snacks are used up quickly. The new rug will cut down on some of the stimulation in the room. Prior classroom rugs were distracting and students could not focus on lessons because they were focused on the images on the rug. This will help them to know where to sit in a calming manner.
