This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks help to satisfy hunger between meals and boost energy. They can also round out the diet, ensuring that children are getting all of the nutrients they need to fuel their growth and development. Learning to eat and enjoy snacks in a healthy way encourages kids to develop healthy eating habits.

To help my students stay focused on learning activities, I would like to provide them with healthy snacks to keep their bellies full.

My goal is to have my students focus on work and not be hungry. Students that don't have snacks at home will have extra snacks sent home so they aren't hungry in the evenings.
