My Students

I work in a school that is currently under construction. After waiting MANY years for a remodel, our school is finally becoming the building that all of our students need and deserve.

Recently my class had had to pack up their belonging and move to a temporary room while our previous room is being remodeled.

In a few months we will be packing back up and moving to a completely different room in the building. This will be our final, newly remodeled, classroom of the year. That is 3 DIFFERENT rooms in one school year! During this process I have not heard one complaint come from a single child. They have been such troopers while transitioning and readjusting.

I would love for my student's final months of the school year to be in a welcoming and warm space that feels like their own. All of us are beyond eager for this process to be complete and see our brand new room!

My Project

By refreshing the décor in our room, along with the renovations that had taken place while we waited, these items will help my students feel a sense of home in the classroom.

We have been shuffled from classroom to classroom this year and it's time for us to retreat to our permanent room and feel settled.

These items will allow me to create a fun environment for them to be excited to come to every day. They will provide me with opportunities to display student work, books, and decorations that our whole class can enjoy!
