This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are ambitious, considerate, and energetic! Every morning when my students enter our classroom they are eager to see what new information they will learn and what challenges they will overcome. My students come from very low-income families and they often spend time at two different homes. Due to that, they don’t always have the supplies they need. I want to provide the necessary school supplies for each and every student of mine. Being able to provide new art supplies to my students will ensure they can engage in a variety of projects.

The crayon sharpener will be a game changer!

My project will also give my students their own individual binder to keep their completed work in. In addition, students will have access to new books which includes some of our favorites like Over in the Garden. Along with the student supplies, this project will help to provide new supplies to use daily in the classroom.
