My Students
Our elementary school is located right in the middle of a major Big 10 university area, so diversity is a large part of our everyday life. We have students from many different countries all coming together in one, big, classroom family. Creating a space that caters to all learners is a priority in my classroom. I am always looking for ways to make my classroom as inclusive as possible. In first grade, students are still very active, young people! Ensuring that our young learners still experience play-based learning as well as have the opportunity for the movement and stimulation they need is always a priority.
My Project
Our classroom is always moving! On a daily basis we have differentiated math games, station rotations for literacy, and so much more. All of this means a lot of creating different games and manipulatives for my very diverse learners. As a teacher, I love doing this, but having a place to store all these items can sometimes be a challenge.
Help me keep the many math and literacy games organized and easily at our fingertips for easy use and differentiation to meet EVERY students individual needs!
My students only reap the benefits of having a more organized teacher, and classroom. The more efficiently our classroom is run, the better our day goes, hands down.
