My Project

This year, I will start my 5th year of teaching. I am going into the year with much more confidence that I have ever before. I finally feel that I am no longer a "new" teacher. With this new confidence, there are new things that I want to start doing in my classroom that will allow my students to feel the most safe and comfortable while learning.

I truly believe that children will be their best selves when they feel safe, comfortable, and are having fun.

I want to use all of the items that I have requested to do just that. For example, some of the items that I am asking for will help me create a new classroom library where my students will have the opportunity to choose books that are not only at their level, but also on topics that they find interesting.
