This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

New school year calls for a new look to our classroom. Star Wars is such an inspirational story and I want to make our classroom a place where my students will enjoy learning and feel transformed to another world. New class decor and supplies will help me achieve this goal. I hope my students love the new look.

My students come from trauma filled home lives and need a classroom that offers a mental health focus.

I want to give my students a classroom that is welcoming and gives them a safe and inviting place to learn. A calm and soothing classroom environment filled with break areas and calming corners centered around a theme will help my students feel welcome and safe.

All these classroom supplies will help me provide my students with calming corners, and a soothing, welcoming environment. A classroom with a theme makes it fun for the kids to come in and enjoy a classroom that is welcoming and shows they are welcome and wanted.
