Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our Garden areas are very special to our school. Since the start of the pandemic we have pushed to offer more opportunities for outdoor learning and outdoor seating. We need to get a sturdy new picnic table to add to our seating options.

Seats for up to eight students for our little ones are provided by this table.

It also comes with a spot to add an umbrella for shade. This is the start of a new beginning for our courtyard seating options. The kids always ask about going out into the courtyard. This will help with that.

Students need a comfortable space and seating to learn in. The ground has lots of ants and its not comfortable to sit and have ants crawling on you while you learn.
