Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

With my switch from a classroom to intervention specialist, I am in need a few items that will benefit my students. My students are energetic & ready to learn! They love to be moving! A lot of my students work better with tangible items, and technology. My students really enjoy learning through different senses, and do better when they learn through play! Instead of the typical paper/pencil, my students thrive when they are learning through engaging activities and things that allow them to be moving.

My Project

All students are unique with their personalities and in the way they learn! With these supplies, they will be able to be more hands-on and help them learn in different ways that might be a little different from a typical classroom! Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. The other items like the activity projgram and the light table will help them learn using some of their different senses. These supplies will help them to be able to move while they learn which means the students will be more engaged! Please consider donating to our classroom!!
