Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school in a low income neighborhood. The majority of my students are English Language (EL) learners. All of them are on free and reduced lunch and all donations and help are very much appreciated. My students look forward to coming to school in a predictable, safe, consistent environment!
My Project
The materials on my list will help students navigate their learning in many ways throughout the day.
We are a 1:1 technology school - this means that each student has a laptop they can access throughout the day.
These need to be organized in an efficient way, and this is where the clips, and technology stands come into use.
As I venture into a new grade level and a larger room, natural lighting provided by lamps will provide a more mellow learning environment. The folders, trays, basket, and pocket charts will provide organizing for their learning materials.
I cannot wait to welcome them into their new home away from home.
