I am choosing these items to set up a new classroom. I aim to make my classroom environments safe, comfortable, easily accessible, and full of learning opportunities. Students will be able to find their materials quickly and store them efficiently. They will have access to a wide range of literature to expand their imaginations and learning styles. The classroom environment will ensure that students will be able to focus on their learning and not over bearing "eye candy". Some items will help me be a more efficient teacher as well. Teaching is best done standing, not sitting. Movement and accessibility to my students is a key ingredient in their success.
