My Project

This year I will be continuing my teaching adventure at a new school and in a new grade level. I am excited to set up my first grade classroom in August and I want to be able to create a space that is organized, inviting, and cheerful! The bookshelves will help me organize my classroom library books for students to use during independent reading. The organization cart will allow me to organize materials for our daily lessons as well as my small group instruction.

I believe every students deserves a welcoming space to learn and grow!

The materials included in this project will help ensure that all of my students have the supplies that they need to be successful. For example, all of my students may not be able to provide their own headphones or scissors, so I want to make sure I have some available for all students.

The dry erase boards, magnetic letters, dry erase pockets, and anchor chart paper are all materials that I plan to use daily when I meet with my students in small groups to practice reading and math skills. I am excited to use these resources to help meet the needs of all of my students and I cannot wait to watch them grow and learn throughout the year.
