My Project
It's a new year, and I want to give my students a new classroom look. I recently took over a first-grade classroom and I want to make it my own. I want the classroom vibe to match my teaching styles and give my students classroom a new look to go along with their new teacher!
My project includes items that will give my students the opportunity to have a new reading corner, along with educational posters that emphasize on subjects, such as math, ELA, and social emotional support.
I strongly believe that new rugs for the reading corner and classroom decoration designs that focus on education will brighten my students learning environment.
My students love when I make small changes, whether it be a new seating chart, new bulletin board, etc. I know they would enjoy and benefit from a new reading corner (such as enhance independent reading), along with new educational posters, that produce knowledge that they're currently learning (parts of speech and a number line). I also included a variety of stickers for their incentive charts, this is extremely helpful for me, my students love working towards incentive rewards and demonstrate positive and good behavior.
