My students need some new materials to start the beginning of the year off right! New furniture, comfy seats and supplies will help make their first year in middle school more comfortable!

My Students
These students are in 6th grade and go to a Title I school. The entire school receives free lunch, and most of the families come from inner-city backgrounds.
Being a Title I school, funding for materials can be very limited, so I want to be able to provide my team with the best resources to help them reach their full potential.
These students work hard and are extremely motivated. I want them to feel successful in how they are performing.
My Project
The materials I am asking for will help my students feel comfortable as they transition into 6th grade every year. There are also materials to help push my students to the next level in math. Many of my students come to me below grade level so some of the supplies will help fill in the gaps and help my students grow in the classroom.
I want my students to have a relaxed environment to learn math in.
With your help, I can add more furniture and some floor pillows for students to sit on! This will be perfect for independent practice time! I've also requested a lamp to help create a calm atmosphere.
For supplies, my students will be using a lot of dry-erase markers, so I need erasers to help keep their area clean. I am also requesting a hanging cart for my small group table to hold papers and supplies in.
I want to give these students the opportunity to feel successful at math, a feeling many of my students have never felt before.
