New Year, New Classes, New Curriculums... Let's Do This!

My Project

After missing the end of last school year with some health problems, I'm back with a boatload of energy and a positive outlook, ready to provide my students with a great year. I also have a brand new curriculum for my English class, a new test prep class that I've never taught before, and, of course, my theatre electives full of kids who probably don't want to be in theatre.

I've never done a Donors Choose project before, but my coworkers have had great success with them, and I feel like it's time to upgrade my classroom.

The products I chose will help create an engaging environment in my room, and set us up for several projects in all of those classes I'm teaching.

We do a lot of creative projects with the novels and short stories we read, so having art supplies will help. I've bought a lot of crayons and markers over the years, and we blow through them quickly.

Having a printer in the room will help keep things moving. We have to send things out to print and it's a several day turn around. If I can print and copy scripts and monologues immediately for my theatre kids, it'll be great. And with multiple languages in the classroom, being able to print out Spanish or Haitian translations right away will certainly help.
