Help me give my students pencils, binders and other basic supplies to start the new school year.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Evans's classroom raised $599
This project is fully funded
My Students
My rising third graders are smart, creative, hard-working, enthusiastic, but most of all.... curious!
They are eager to learn how to read, solve math problems, and conduct science experiments all while writing about their experiences and discoveries.
All of my students plan to attend college. I am teaching future doctors, medical researchers, firefighters, lawyers, veterinarians, and educators!
My Project
The index cards are used to develop students' academic vocabulary in both reading and math.
The binders will be used to organize ELA & Math classwork, independent and small group work, and homework.
Each time a new story is introduced to a group a copy will be placed in their binder. Students can use these binders during small group time to develop fluency and expression. Each time a student rereads a story they will time how long it takes. Students can also read to another student have the partner rate their expression.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
