My Project

My students come from all walks of life. We are a high poverty K-5 school. My students have a passion for learning but have many obstacles to overcome both at home and in their neighborhood. Every day, we try to create an environment where they feel safe to explore their ideas and creativity. Art is an excellent outlet for many of my students and really inspires students to be creative thinkers!

"Every Child is an Artist" My students all want to be able to express themselves in the multiple ways that art allows.

My students constantly want to learn new art methods and history.

Being able to have new supplies will start our year off just right! Rainbow pencils will be able to give a surprising twist to the art room! I mean how fun would a rainbow pencil be? Paper is always a must and new folders to hold our worksheets.
