This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The start of the 2023-24 school year is already approaching! We are requesting supplies that will help all students have the necessary materials they need to be successful. First and foremost, students need basic supplies such as pencils, glue sticks, paper, plastic folders and crayons. I like to provide these materials for all students so everyone has the same items. We’re also requesting various treats such as gummy bears, ring pops, candy watches and small fidgets to reward students for positive behavior throughout the week. The five drawer storage cart will be used to store math manipulatives in an organized way so students can access it when needed. In kindergarten counting is a major skill practiced daily and requires the use of many manipulatives that are currently haphazardly stashed in bags around the room and inaccessible to students.dry erase boards ass a huge benefit to students and we’re in desperate need of new, clean boards for the students to use to display their thinking.
